Living Water Catholic Updated News as of June 9,2021

Given the new State of Massachusetts protocols that go into place on May 29, the following guidance is issued for the parishes of the Archdiocese of Boston.

“As of May 29, masks are no longer required for vaccinated people in the State of Massachusetts. The State does advise that non-vaccinated people continue to wear masks.”
Please note the following for our worship sites:
  1. Registration for Mass is no longer required.
  2. Reinstatement of Sunday Mass Obligation effective the weekend of June 19 and 20, 2021. If parishioners are feeling ill they should remain at home.  We will continue to live stream the Holy Family Mass, Sunday at 9:30 a.m. on  Living Water Catholic Facebook Page.
  3. It is understood that different people will be ready to take off their masks and sit near one another at different times.
  4. We will accommodate those who are ready to take off their masks and sit near others, and those who are not.
  5. Some sections of the church will be cordoned off to accommodate socially distanced seating.
  6. Some people who are comfortable dropping social distancing may not yet be comfortable taking off their masks. You are free to wear a mask as long as you like, no matter where you sit, and that in Christian charity, we all respect those who continue to wear masks as well as those who choose not to do so.
  7. Congregational singing once again is permitted throughout the Mass.

About Living Water Catholic

Holy Family Parish (Amesbury) and Star of the Sea Parish (Salisbury) are a collaborative of Roman Catholic parishes in the northeast corner of the Archdiocese of Boston, Massachusetts. These communities in the Merrimack Region of the Archdiocese are tied together by  the created gift of water (rivers, lakes and ocean) and united in faith through the waters of baptism.

We seek to make disciples of Jesus Christ through prayer and worship, lifelong learning, living generous lives of service, and sharing our faith with others. We strive to be warm, welcoming and caring parishes in which the gifts and talents of all, young and old, are recognized and graciously used to nourish others.
